Split log textures

I came across this large split log lying on the ground with sheep lying on it, whilst walking an unused path on a damp day on the Blorenge in Wales. The sheep moved off, and this is the photograph I took of the interesting worn texture of the log with autumn leaves. There is a tiny bit of snared wool in the middle, and a quarter down from the top of the picture.
